Dr. Jerry R. Harmon is Senior Pastor of Ellendale Baptist Church, Bartlett, TN, just outside of Memphis. He was educated at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (TN) where he received a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D., majoring in Hebrew and Old Testament with minors in New Testament Greek and Theology. Dr. Harmon also studied Hebrew at the graduate level at Johns Hopkins University in his hometown of Baltimore, MD. Dr. Harmon lives with his wife (Carolyn) and children (Abby, Jeremiah, Josiah, and Annie) in Bartlett, TN. When he is not preaching he enjoys spending time with his family, reading the Puritans, working with the church staff and getting to know the people of Ellendale Baptist Church.
